The Powers family moved to Water Street in 1928, the year Jim was born. The house was owned by the Jenkins Family until my grandparents bought it in the 1960's. It was within walking distance to the Arion Band Room through the woods behind the house. From the front porch on a summer evening, the sound of the chimes from the Methodist Church on Main Street could be heard.
Uncle Frank drops by for a visit.
