Beijing is growing fast with all the problems of a major city and without the constraints of a pollution control policy. 

Every so often in China, there is the opportunity to dress in the local costume and have your picture taken.  This shot of one of the locals on a Sunday afternoon at the Qianmen Gate was too good to pass up.
