A great trip during August 1996 was a swing through the southern Czech Republic organized by Backroads of Berkeley.   The trip started in Berlin, then to Prague.  The bicycle portion last seven days and started in Czesky Budovice, (150 miles south of Prague) and ambled south through medieval town of Czesky Krumlov.  When the organized part of the trip was through, I headed down to Budapest.
