While visiting the 2003 Dayton Hamvention, I toured the Air Force SATCOMM KC-135 at Wright Patterson.  On the top stair with me is Helen Demers, Project Manager.

After the SATCOMM tour, the AMSAT group had Pizza and beer where I joined Rick Hambley, Robin Haighton, (current AMSAT President) and a few other AMSAT members.

Jerry, KK5YY, helped me fit a very reluctant battery to my Kenwood handheld and spent Friday evening after the AMSAT banquet with me.

Jerry passed away May 23.
