I first met Juan in
the early 1970's when we were working together at KCBS in San Francisco as
engineers. We shared similar interests as we both were hams. His call is
WA6HTP. We built S-100
computers systems at the same time and learned about microprocessors, North Star disk
drives and North Star BASIC.

During the early
1990, Juan was a telescope operator on the Kuiper Airborne Observatory, (KAO).
