I joined KGO, ABC-7 in San Francisco in May of 2006 to return to my roots in Broadcasting.  One of the most interesting aspects is working with the blend of computer technology with broadcast production. 

Here is a Grass Valley Ignite system used to produce 35 hours a week of live programming.  The Ignite system controls video and audio sources as well as camera control.  It integrates with the station's news automation system iNews from Avid which is used to create program rundowns.
