On August 4, 2007, 20 former staff members of KUWR gathered
in Laramie toured the KUWR studios and had dinner. We told stories of our
time at KUWR and honored John McMullen who was the faculty advisor from before
the station signed on in September 1966 until his retirement in 1985.

After our tour of the KUWR studios at Knight Hall, Pat
Gabriel interviewed me about the first broadcast in September of 1966. I
played the Beatles "Revolver" album and Beach Boys music.
