Our very good friend Charlie, WD6FAF, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2002.  The following Saturday, 30 of his fellow hams from the WB6TCS repeater group got together at the Menlo Park Recreation Center to tell their favorite stories of Charlie talking on the repeater, going to organ concerts in Berkeley, going to the Stanford Theatre in Palo Alto, going to Mt. Anthony or going out to eat at his favorite smorgasbord.

When Charlie was on the repeater, he always kept up to date on what everyone was doing, how their wives or girlfriends were and always had concern for everyone. 

Each of us remembered that Charlie always had a positive attitude about everyone and every situation.  He was a friend to all of us and it is that friendship we will miss.
