From August 1964 until I left to go to college at the University of Wyoming, I was "Don Sherwood" on KATI, 1400 MHz. in Casper, Wyoming.   Regardless the weather and temperatures, I signed the station on at 5:00 a.m. every day except Sunday when I could sleep in and sign on at 7:00 a.m.

Bill Sims was the station manager and my  boss while I was at KATI.  We had a chance to share some time together on July 4, 1998 at the home of John and Marilyn McMullen in New Mexico.  I introduced John and Bill in 1966.   They lived lived as neighbors in Laramie during the 1970s.
